Yoooooooooo! What up ghouls it’s here 🥹 🚲 🧟

Join us for our Halloween Bike Flea Market from 10 AM–5 PM = in Reservoir Park!

🅿️ Non-metered parking is available along King Street, as well as in the Orange Street lot behind the shop in Reservoir Park!
But walking or riding bikes is encouraged, of course. 😜

Dare you to come browse our good deals, enjoy some great treats, and get into the Halloween spirit! Costumes are encouraged!

Also, sorry I said “fill your own bike l**e container” twice 😂 We just have A LOT of bike l**e and bike wash! So just so you know, bring your own container! 🧴🚲 🏷️

We’re excited to announce Catherine Cox as our new Executive Director. Cox, who previously served as the Board President and Interim Executive Director, steps permanently into the leadership role to oversee the organization’s future.

Before stepping into leadership at The Common Wheel, Cox built a diverse career in the Lancaster area as a project manager and later as an entrepreneur, founding A Labour of Love Designs.

“We are thrilled to welcome Catherine as our permanent Executive Director,” said Board Vice-President, Charlie Schroeder. “Having already served as our Board President and Interim ED, Catherine understands our mission from the inside out and is uniquely positioned to grow our impact in Lancaster.”

In her role, Cox will guide our organization’s core operations, including our programming hub on King Street and retail shop on Queen Street.

“Bicycles have the power to change lives, provide economic freedom, and build healthier communities,” said Cox. “I am deeply honored to step into the role of Executive Director at an organization that means so much to Lancaster.”

It was truly an honor to see this event unfold, and we’re already looking forward to many more to come.

Thank you again to everyone who helped make Larry’s little Belgium in Lancaster route a beautiful ride to share together and seriously, just look how cool everyone is. 🥹

The Common Wheel is having a shop wide sale this Halloween! Our entire inventory is on sale! All drop bar road bikes will be 50% off! We’ll have new bike seats selling for $8 (originally $45), old vintage parts (Campagnolo, Shimano), high end used parts such as hubs (Shimano, Sram, Campy, Hope, Chris King). All used items will be sold at flea market prices! We have a giant stock of unicycles that have to go. Make us an offer! We have bike packing equipment, bike frames, wheels, cycling wear, hitch racks, baskets, and so much more! Come by The Common Wheel at our 701 East King Street location right in Reservoir Park, Lancaster, PA on Halloween day between 10am & 5pm. If anything, come by just to introduce yourself to your community bike shop and share candy and refreshments. You never know, perhaps we will have the road bike or unicycle you can’t live without! You may also find that random piece of equipment you have been looking for at a bargain price. Feel free to wear a costume, the shop will be extra spooky! It is Halloween after all!
All sales, as usual, go to fund our magnificent programs. Without your continuing support in purchases, fundraisers, and events such as this, we could not make The Common Wheel a reality. Thanks again to all those in our community and we will see you there!
