The team made the trek to Lancaster for the us open yesterday and the results unfortunately did not show all the work and help put in throughout the day, the car started off from the drop of the first green flag and by feature time the team was able to get top ten lap times by the start of feature time. Travis started 18th and had worked his way up to about 12th when the car started to fade fast, at halfway, Travis blew the right front tire going into turn 3 but was able toy keep the car from getting any damage, changed the tire and went back out but the car had no brakes so we called it before we wrecked ours or anyone else’s car. When we came back in the pits, we realized that the right rear was also flat as well so unfortunately we ran over some debris or something that ruined both right sides and explained why we all of a sudden lost speed. All in all not a bad night and just have to give a huge thank you to all of the crew, including our two new members that stepped up yesterday, Roger and John as well as the Catalano’s for all of their help throughout the day. Thank you to the NYSS and Chris and JD for everything they’ve been doing and for being so welcoming to us for our first NYSS race! Definitely a breathe of fresh air to be having fun at the track again as a family and appreciated somewhere again! Keep looking for big things from the team!

The night went just about as well as we could have asked for! Made all the laps, made some progress and worked all the bugs out! Now that the rust is knocked off the car and driver both, hopefully the team can bring the 04 out for a few more shows this year! Finished a solid 7th in the feature and loaded the car up in one piece! Thank you to all of our fans, sponsors, supporters and the team as a whole! We couldn’t do it without each and every one of you!

The team has made the decision and the work has been done! We are going racing! Travis will be running the 04 Super Stock at Spencer Speedway tonight! Gonna be a great night of racing! Hope to see you there!

The Montgomery racing crew has made the decision to make it out for at least one run at it this year and support our home track at Spencer speedway tomorrow, come out, show your support, cheer on Travis in the 04 super stock and kick off the 4th of July weekend with some Friday night racing! See you at the track!
