A great day of fishing and camaraderie with these two fly girls. Stained water, streamed side lunch, a little rain, dinner with the best seat in the house at Old Mill Inn and a rooftop view at Hotel Bristol rounded out the perfect day.

We will have the official Obituary announcement out soon but for planning purposes, we wanted to let everyone know Daddy’s service will be at First Christian Church 311 Spencer Street Bristol, Va 24201.
Friends and family may pay respects from 10:15 to 11:00 with the service beginning at 11:00. The graveside service will follow immediately after the service at Mountain View Cemetery 2090 Valley Dr. Bristol, Virginia.

This morning at 3:00 am our sweet daddy, peacefully left this earth for his heavenly home. We will miss him so much. These past four years of being together have been a rich blessing for all of us. We know without a doubt the Lord has been with us each step of the way. Thanks to our friends and family for the prayers, love and support you have given to us in your hugs, calls, comments and visits. The prayers are supporting us this morning and we are truly experiencing the “peace” that passes all understanding.

Please pray for our family as we approach a new season with Daddy entering hospice care. We are so thankful to have the hope of eternity which Daddy has spent his life’s ministry proclaiming.
He is in room 3012 in Bristol Regional Medical Center if you want to visit.

Such a great time with the Music City Fly Girls on our annual Elk River trip. Even with the call for severe weather all around us, the Lord blessed us with clear water, short rain bursts and plenty of fish. Special thanks to At Rivers Edge and owners Blake and Emily for always being so welcoming. Here’s to amazing fishy friends!

Enjoyed a beautiful day on the Caney Fork yesterday. It had been a long time!
To the fellow who lost his net, it has been found!
Fly South will be holding it for you. Now you have an excuse to visit one of the greatest fly shops in Tennessee.
