2024-2025 Travel Baseball Tryouts: We hope to see you there!

Dear Players and Parents,
Dates are set for tryouts for the 2024-25 Lancaster Jr. Barnstormers teams, July 31 and August 7, 2024. Tryouts will take place at R & J Melhorn Field in Mount Joy, Pa. Melhorn Field is located at 550 Farmview Lane, Mount Joy, PA 17552. Registration will begin at 5:30 PM for ages 13U to 17U. Players will be divided into age groups for evaluations. Evaluators will have previous college playing or travel baseball coaching experience. We hope to see you there.

ADDED TRYOUT DATE!!!

We will have an additional tryout date on Wednesday August 2nd at Wolgemuth Park in Elizabethtown at 6pm for interested players that are not able to attend their respective trying the week prior. This will be for all ages 13-18u. Registration in person at 5:30pm. We ask that you pre-register by emailing us at [email protected] if you can.

Over the weekend our 16u team traveled down to New Jersey for the GMG Tournament outside of Cherry Hill. After a 1-1 Saturday and seeding 4th the team ran the table Sunday and won a thrilling Championship game Sunday 13-12!! Each team had leads of at least 4 runs at different times and the tying run was stranded at third. It was a great weekend up and down the whole lineup! Congrats boys!!

Our 15U Team had a solid performance in this weekend’s EL1 Tournament in Warminster, PA. The team scored 32 runs, while giving up 6. The pitching staff lowered their team ERA to 2.58 and raised their team batting average to .353. The team improved their record to 12-1 this summer! Congrats Boys!

Last weekend our 15u team took the field for their first tournament of the season. After a 2-0 start on Saturday the boys were the 2 seed going into Sunday. They won their first game and found themselves down 3-1 late in the semifinals and pulled off the comeback! In the finals they got out to a 4-0 lead and never looked back for a tournament victory and a 5-0 weekend! We are so proud of this group and excited to see what the rest of the summer holds!

This weekend we have our 14,15,16 and 18u teams all in action. We are looking for great development and great baseball this weekend!
