The struggle was real today yesterday i found a hole loaded with crappie and man was they active. Today they was their stacked but didn’t want to eat Bait fish everywhere catfish big gills but we couldn’t get them to commit to the cause. From minnows to jigs even downsize to the micro jigs still no commitment. But I kept at it trying different techniques to entice a bite and it end up paying off with a whole lot of short fish and 10 keepers today is a prime example of why I don’t guarantee limits. The fish can be there but you can’t make em bite and lord knows I wish I could ,but it adds fuel to the fire for the next trip WE GOT A SCORE TO SETTLE!

Cast for kids was a blast and we had a great turn out I’m glad we had a lot of boats not only the smiles makes my day but when you walk up and find out I was requested by 4 families then you know you are doing something right

My boy Mike Simmions hit me up said he needed a deckhand and tht his clients wanted some lake Buchanan crappie the day started off slow but once I got the the pattern down it was a slab fest
These guys drove up from kerrville so I wanted to make sure they had some good quality fish for the box they ended the day with 20 slabs and 3 gills

Paired with a 17 ft ozark rod them fish didn’t stand a chance
