Fearless Femme Racing proudly welcomes mother-daughter duo Paola Muñoz and Javiera Garrido-Muñoz of Santiago, Chile. They become the only current mother-daughter pair competing together in professional women’s cycling, representing a full arc of cycling legacy.

Paola Muñoz has been a titan of Chilean cycling for more than two decades. A two-time Olympian (London 2012 and Rio 2016), multiple-time national champion, Pan American medalist on both road and track, and numerous podiums on the US Crit scene, she has balanced professional success with her massive responsibility as wife, mother, business owner, and co-team captain.

Her daughter, Javiera Garrido-Muñoz, embodies the next generation. After transitioning from competitive diving to cycling during the pandemic, she has rapidly emerged as one of the most exciting collegiate talents while racing for Milligan University. Her achievements include multiple victories, national title contention, and the special experience of racing alongside her mother at the 2025 UCI Track World Championships in their hometown of Santiago.

Together, they show that family can be the ultimate teammate and that legacy is something you build and pass on through shared dedication and passion. Fearless Femme Racing is honored to support this extraordinary duo as they make history. The peloton just got a whole lot more Fearless. 💪🇨🇱

Fearless Femme Racing Returns for Year 14

The 2026 season almost didn't happen. A brutal off-season — quiet roads, slow business at Pure Energy Cycling, and the loss of our title sponsor — nearly pulled the plug on everything. Small teams don't have much of a safety net, but staying small is how we survived.

But Fearless Femme has a tradition and history that must endure. Attending the Track World Championships in Chile and the Oceania Championships in New Zealand reignited something the lack of financials couldn't kill: the hunger! Athlete recruitment became the mission and the flame came back — Hotter.

Our core captains answered the call without hesitation — no financial guarantees, no promises of equipment, just the opportunity to race and represent. This is the spirit of the fearless family. Alongside them, a new wave of young talent joins the lineup: coachable, big dreamers, big engines, fearless. The veterans will lead; the next-gen will flank. But we needed a presenting sponsor.

Then, in the final weeks of March, the last piece fell into place. New sponsors emerged — not just with resources, but with bedrock belief. They didn't just show up with checks, they asked how they could help. That kind of devotion gets stitched into every jersey and felt on every sprint, climb, and finish line.

From the greenlight, the racers were in the redzone as the pace for the Elimination event was savage! It was a battle of New Zealand vs Australia towards the end with 1 New Zealander and 3 Aussies. One by one, raced from the front and picked off each competitor to take the victory for another gold medal! 🥇

So awesome to see the prodigy .lynch mix it up fearlessly!💪
