This one goes out to the one and only, Shef!! Shef’s quick whit and desire to learn has made her a stronghold of the PLU rowing program for the past 4 years. She is always pushing herself and her teammates to be the best they can be. We are STOKED that Shef will be a part of the program for one more year!

Our next senior spotlight goes out to Clara! If you’re lucky enough to know her, then you know she is a FORCE to be reckoned with! We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it a million times more- we wish we could have had Clara as a part of our program for more than just this year because of her positive impact and hardworking attitude she brings to every practice and race.

Since we are officially in Sunny Sarasota, it’s the perfect time to kick off our Senior Spotlights and give some love to the team members who helped us make it to another NCAA National Championship regatta! First up: Brooke Faubion! You can usually catch Brooke collecting plant life out of any body of water our team finds itself on. She always supports her teammates and works incredibly hard in all aspects of her life. We are so excited to watch what Brooke accomplishes next!

We know we’re a day late, but we celebrate Julez every day!! Julez brings so much fun and energy to every practice and race. She builds up her teammates every chance she gets and will annihilate your fist if you ever go to give her some pre-race knucks! 😂 Happy (late) birthday, Julez!
