Commencement Bay Rowing Club

Commencement Bay Rowing Club Through rowing, CBRC builds community, confidence, and excellence. We offer adult and youth rowing.

The CBRC Boathouse is located south of Tacoma in Lakewood's Harry Todd Park. Our crews row on scenic American Lake, which includes a 2,000 m course within its length of over 4,500 m. The boathouse is also home to crews from Pacific Lutheran University and the University of Puget Sound creating an active, vibrant rowing community. Facilities include four boat bays, a work bay and an indoor workout area that doubles as a meeting or banquet room.
