Apex Badminton Academy - training was awesome today! We had players from different levels, but everyone worked hard and learned together. We practiced side-to-side drives, straight drives, cross-court drives… basically enough drives to qualify for a driver’s license! 😂🏸

WOWWW… what an AMAZING day for the ABA family!!! 🏸🔥🎉
🏸Our Mini Tournament for ABA coaches, students, parents, staff, and invited guests was successfully completed with incredible energy, laughter, competition, and LOTS AND LOTS of smashing! 💥😆
🏸As Head Coach of ABA — Apex Badminton Academy, I would like to congratulate all winners from every level and division! At the same time, I would like to send my heartfelt thanks to all parents who continue to support and believe in our badminton training program at Pickleball Badminton Center (AKA BCC). Your trust, support, and encouragement truly mean everything to us. ❤️
🏸To all students — thank you for putting in so much time, effort, sweat, passion, and dedication into training. Some of you train so hard that I think your rackets see you more than your own family members! 😂🏸
🏸🏸A HUGE appreciation goes to all our dedicated coaches who work endlessly behind the scenes to plan, guide, coach, motivate, and support every single student. Coaching is not easy, especially when students suddenly “forget” their footwork during tournaments 😅, but all of you continue to give your hearts every day.
🏸And to the students who did not win many games or matches— from my point of view, YOU ARE ALL WINNERS. 🏆
🏸The courage to step onto the court, compete, challenge yourself, and not be afraid of losing already makes you champions in our eyes. Especially our youngest and beginner students… your fighting spirit truly won my heart. All coaches were incredibly proud of your efforts and bravery today. ❤️👏
🏸Special thanks to Coach Jatin, Coach Kiet, Coach Khoa, and Coach Roberto for helping and guiding our junior and beginner players throughout the tournament. You guys were absolutely awesome!
🏸We had a total of 50 players competing from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM with amazing passion, sportsmanship, and FUN! Some students even arrived ONE HOUR EARLY before the tournament started just to warm up and hang out… honestly, that really touched my heart. That kind of love and excitement for badminton is priceless. 🥹🏸
🏸PBC also gave out approximately $900 worth of raffle prizes including:

🎁 2 beautiful YONEX bags
🎁 Premium YONEX shoes
🎁 And many more awesome prizes!
🏸The idea behind the raffle was simple:
Instead of only rewarding the winners, EVERY participant — no matter the skill level — had a chance to win something amazing. Because today was not just about winning matches… it was about friendship, bonding, community, positive spirit, and celebrating badminton together.
🏸🏸AND OH MY GOODNESS… THE FOOD. 😂🍕🍗🍜🧋
Since it was potluck style, almost everyone contributed food, snacks, drinks, desserts, and treats. Honestly… I think we had enough food for 150 people instead of 50 players 🤣 but somehow we still managed to eat almost everything!
🙏🏸❤️❤️‍🩹One of the sweetest moments of the day was surprising one of our elite junior students, Jacob, with a birthday cake 🎂 and a giant balloon 🎈. Seeing his smile made the entire academy happy.
🏸Last but definitely not least, every successful tournament needs heroes behind the desk and behind the scenes. I would be honored to especially thank Pavan for being the main person helping the event run smoothly, along with Minh V. and several wonderful volunteers who stayed and helped until the very end. We truly appreciate all your hard work and support in making this mini tournament happen successfully.
