Absolutely incredible weekend! Over 150 athletes at Girls 12-14 tryouts. A total of 20 girls teams and 7 boys teams were created this tryout season, a combined total of 335 athletes that we get to help serve! I feel truly blessed and honored to get to help shape and guide these players. Volitude is just starting. With our new facility we can continue to build towards our goal of growing the game and creating access to quality training and a caring environment! See you on the court!

Hey, it’s Coach Josh! 👋🏐

If we haven’t met yet, I’m the owner of Volitude and the head men’s volleyball coach at Long Beach City College. Volleyball gave me a community growing up in Downey, took me to a state championship at LBCC, and eventually gave me the chance to play professionally. Now I get to share what I’ve learned with the next generation.

The biggest lesson? Great coaches do more than teach skills. They build relationships, challenge athletes to grow, and help them believe in what they can accomplish. That’s the coach I work to be every day.

BIG NEWS + VOLITUDE TRYOUT UPDATE 🏐

Volitude is entering a new chapter.

Our time at our current La Mirada facility is coming to an end, but what’s ahead is something we are incredibly excited about.

We are preparing to transition into a new 20-court volleyball facility in Santa Fe Springs, giving our athletes access to more courts, more resources, and an even better environment to train, compete, and grow.

While we wait for the doors to open, Long Beach City College will serve as our temporary home for our upcoming Pre-Tryout Clinics and 12U–14U Tryouts.

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. 🎗️💛

This month, Volitude stands with the children and families whose lives have been impacted by childhood cancer. This cause is especially close to our hearts, as members of our own Volitude family have experienced an unimaginable loss.

We honor the children we’ve lost, support those still fighting, and stand beside the families who carry their stories every day.

May we continue to raise awareness, support research, and work toward a future where every child has the opportunity for a brighter tomorrow.
