Great Program last night. Scot Grosman of the Jeffco Parks and Open Spaces talked about the Peaks to Plains Trail ( now called the Clear Creek Trail Project) and how all the stakeholders, of which the GPoR is one since 2012, have helped to make the Canyon one of the highest use parks on the front range. Though progress and change have limited Prospectors access over the years, we still continue to have a voice in the project to insure Prospectors will continue to have access and preserve some of the historical culture of the Canyon. February program was John Jiggs, owner of the Gold Prospector Shop on S. Broadway, who gave us a demonstration on the mine lab 2000.. it was a very interesting presentation and we thank John for it. His new shop is the only full time prospecting shop we now have in Denver, so drop in and see him for any of your needs. Hope everyone can join us on March 18 at 7pm for our next meeting. We will have another good program coming up.
