• Sword Evasion
The first rule is “Get out of the way!”
When students safely learn how to evade someone striking at them with a sword, several indivi

dual skills are gained that include but are not limited to: Patience, Strategy, Perseverance, Self-Control, Confidence, Spatial- awareness, Self-Discipline, etc.
• Break falls and Rolls
Second rule: “Don’t hit your head!”
By safely learning to roll and fall, students will be able to travel throughout their lives with a plan B, or C when gravity has other unexpected plans.
• Punching, kicking, grappling, sword fighting, and other self-defense tools.

Last week we also had Tatum move up in rank, he received his 2nd black stripe on his White belt. Congratulations Tatum!!! You have worked very hard to get that stripe. We are very proud of you not giving up. Keep up the great work!!

We are a little behind posting this but we had some exciting milestones occur last week... Congratulations to Joshua and Matthew for completing their Green belt test. They have worked extremely hard learning all the white belt techniques and we are so proud of you both!!! We will not be posting the whole test since it's pretty long.
