More recent research has shown that after a 2 week detraining period the group of participants did not suffer any set-backs when it came to muscle size and strength.

Also equally as important to note that they did not experience any fat gain. Another study found that strength can be preserved for up to 4 weeks. Bottom line, you will not lose progress should you decide to take a vacation and time away from the gym!

Remember that more is not always better when it comes to pre workout. General rule of thumb when picking a preworkout.

If a supplement has a proprietary blend it is best to steer clear UNLESS a company lists out the ingredients within those blends and has the dosing to accompany it. With most blends you don’t know what you are buying.

Pay attention to dosing. If the supplement has the right type of ingredients but not the clinical effective dosage it will be a waste.

The only thing magical about that kit of teas you keep seeing is their ability to fool you into buying into its propaganda.

Your detoxification is consistently taking place via your kidneys. A kit of teas will not result in you suddenly becoming healthy & losing fat. What will result is massive, unhealthy weight loss that’ll bounce right back once you begin eating normal food again.

The better approach to “detoxification” is simply exchanging your current habits for more proactive ones. Join a gym, lift with intensity, eat foods that you enjoy & digest well, rest well, & repeat.

Keep in mind that those 1-2 hours in the gym increase your overall energy expenditure, but how you spend the other 22-23 hours remaining in your day is going to greatly impact your total daily energy expenditure (TDEE). Some of you NEAT will be voluntary-shopping, cleaning, yard work, etc and some are involuntary--fidgeting in your seat, turning in your sleep, etc. Little things add up so do not ignore your NEAT

Stop falling for Fad Diets. Stop trying to fit yourself into a box that you don’t fit in. These marketed diets promise quick results, but they come at the cost of your sustainability. In other words, these “quick fix” diets are often severely low in calorie intake, which will force you to lose weight, but not sustain that weight loss. 95% of those who partake in such diets end up either gaining all the weight back or more. Macros can free you from falling into this trap by allowing you to create your own diet based on your preferences. Sustainability is the key to genuine success.

Vitamin D is so important and so essential that our bodies literally evolved to absorb the sun! But so many of us spend our days indoors leaving many people vitamin D deficient! If you can’t get a little sun everyday make sure you are supplementing this vitamin!
