THE STARTERS continued to learn more about flag football, with an emphasis on taking a handoff the right way, and getting downfield with a quickness! They had hand-off running play races, and then continued to learn our 3 basic pass patterns - the CURL, the OUT, and the SLANT! They also worked on defending these routes. We finished with a kid-favorite, Team Touchdown, and it came down to the wire! Some kids that caught our eye today included Finn Mason (who made a series of moves during Team TD that had the crowd roaring!), Penelope Hogan (who chased down an opponent who seemed to have an easy score!), Michael Ryan (who seems to ALWAYS grab flags!), and Crew Smith, who held on tight to the football, and split the defense by running right down the middle for a score! We will have all kinds of drills, skills and practice over the next two weeks, and after week 4, we will split them into hopefully balanced teams! It was fun today for sure!-CJ

The Juniors had their final day of ratings, and teams have now been selected! They did a great job within their leveled groupings, but the coaches would like to SHOUT-OUT a few players that really caught their eye: Jimmy Christoforo, Ethan Casey, Sullivan Amaral, Peter Walsh, Matt Adams, Flynn Bernat, and Theo Ross. With teams tentatively set (we reserve the right to make trades), they will get their jerseys next week, and we ask that they WEAR THEM EVERY WEEK, and if the 'laundry thief' has a hold of it, please have them wear their team's colors. That helps us so much, and speeds things up for everyone. I can't wait to see how it goes next week, when the kids get to have full-field games, after some skill review-let's go!!!

Senior Fall Flag League kicked off our regular season today, with a few close games, and a couple not so close. The Lightning and Packers have come roaring out of the gate, while both the Cardinals and Wildcats were also able to walk away winners. Today shout-outs in team victories go out to Sebastian Lopes, Henry Fredette, Cay Rasar, and Jaxon Fillion. Players who earned recognition in defeat were Samantha Berry, Jake Martin, Cam Besse, and Aidan Kelly, who turned in an incredible performance! You can keep track of the standings on our website, and also remember that EVERY SCORE OR STOP MATTERS, as we use a plus/minus system to determine standings and break ties. It was a solid first week of action, but I know we can get better, and we will! Also, if your kid is in grades 4th-7th and can't get enough flag, they can still join our Monday Night Flag edition - 7 weeks of pure action, games and fun, and it starts this Monday- hope to hear from you soon! - CJ

Our Senior Fall Flag League season begins in the morning! We get to see our new captains and their squads battle for flag supremacy! We kick off with Sam Berry's Stallions verse Bennett Hoffman's Lightning! Over on Field 3, Owen McMenamy's Thunder will try to scare off Mason Ward's Wildcats. Our later games feature Elliot Takacs and his Navy squad, verse Lucas Turner's Cardinals. Last but not least, we have Thomas Lamoureux's Vipers, doing his best to slow down Samuel Lewis and his Packers. I don't know who will earn playoff spots, or who will earn MVP nominations, or which team will win it all. I do know that this group of captains will lead with integrity, honor, and skill, respecting the game, their teammates, their opponents, and the officials. Not only that, the focus will be on good, competitive fun! May the best team win!

This is the last call for Winter Ball, with Seniors and Saturday Starters maxed, Juniors holding on to a couple slots, and our brand new Monday Starters filling fast! Thanks for spreading the good word, as so many new people tell me they heard about me from parents of satisfied kids, and I'm truly grateful - thanks parents!

If your kid can't get enough flag football, sign him up for our Monday Night Flag edition! With much smaller numbers than on Saturday, it is very fast-paced, with more coach interaction, more game action, and more fun! We have but 4-5 spaces left for a 7 week session that begins 9/7/26. Have a blessed Sunday! - CJ

Opening day of our 18th Fall Flag League season featured preseason scrimmages for the Seniors, ratings for the Juniors, and instruction for the Starters. Senior teams that caught my eye today included Team Navy, led by Elliot Takacs, as well as the Lightning, led by Bennett Hoffman. Other Senior stars included Ryan Janus, Robert Finlay, Anden Burnap, Callan Goodwin, Emmet Takacs, Vinny Costa, and Caroline Hoffman. Our Junior group has a lot of experience, with many skilled players, so it is shaping up to be one of the best Junior seasons in recent memory. Juniors that caught my eye today were Kenzie Foye, Owen Nardi, Tristan Jakubowski, and Gavin Lopes. The Starters learned about many facets of the game, from the field layout to line of scrimmage concepts, to hand position on both hand-offs and when catching the ball. The attendance was great, so that should speed up the progress, letting us move to games in the near future! See them nextd week! - CJ

Day 4 was excellent, with instruction on shooting and plenty of chance to practice, and then show off your skills with our epic, semi-annual Hot Shot competition! Tomorrow, we will have a review of rebounding, then get to more game action to solidify our clinic award finalists, and finish each group with the Hot Shot finale! It should be an exciting final day - can't wait! -CJ

Day 3 of Summer Clinics featured defensive dribbling and defensive slides. We also played a bunch of games and shooting contests, and finished with full-court games. Senior standouts included Isaac Lang and Jaxon Fillion. Junior stars were the trio of Chase Passut, Henry Fredette, and Mason Pacheco, who hit the Prize Bucket not once, not twice, but THREE times (and he gave 2 of his prizes to friends)! Tomorrow we focus on shooting, and have our semi-annual Hot Shot competition. In Seniors, two of the best Hot Shots, Mason Ward and Ryan Nardi, are sure to do well, and in Juniors, we have Tyler Brightman and Mason Pacheco, who also have won trophies for their spectacular shooting before! Can't wait to see how it all pans out, as the top 4 from all three levels will battle again on Friday for the hardware! - See them soon! CJ
