We are excited to announce the addition of our new Jr. Assistant Coach! Mackenzie Headding is veteran (5 years!) former ICE/Apex player and Lakeville South graduate, now studying at Winona State as a business major. Mackenzie has proven herself beyond a doubt over the years to be a very focused and driven individual, and we think she’ll be an excellent role model for our players. Welcome to the team, Coach Mack! 🩵🖤🤍🥎

With the changing of the seasons, we have another change to announce. After 2 years as our Jr. Assistant, Coach Hannah Koster is on to bigger and better things! Hannah is wrapping up her undergrad studies at the U of M and is on a path toward law school. We’ve really loved having her as a part of this team, and the girls will miss her a LOT. Thanks for everything, Coach Hannah! 🩵🖤🤍♥️

Very pleased to have every single player returning for this season, plus adding a gem in Briana! 🩵🖤🤍 It’s a big step up to the 14U division, but we are ready to take on the challenge. Win or lose, we’ll keep getting 0.1% better every day! 💪🏼🥎.

We are VERY excited to announce the newest addition to our team, Briana Bear! She had an excellent all-around tryout with us today, and she really made an impression with her very pleasant and outgoing personality and positive energy! She will be a GREAT fit for the amazing culture and group of ladies that we are so lucky to have on our team. 🩵🖤

We managed to make it through last season with a lean roster of 11 players, and we are happy to report that all 11 will be returning next season! We are looking for 1-2 solid athletes to round out our roster to full strength. (We will become “MN Apex 13U National” for next season). Consider joining us! 💪🏼🖤🩵🥎🏔️

We finished up our summer season this past weekend. It was a solid run, finishing with a record of 26-14-2, ranked #2 in USSSA points and the #6 Power Ranking in the state of Minnesota. Going back to last fall, we could go down the roster and list significant improvements that we saw from every single player, some of which are reflected in the end of season awards they received. Even more importantly, the girls earned an A+ for building and maintaining a culture of being fantastic, caring, supportive, and positive teammates all year long. As coaches, that is what we emphasize above all, and it has been very gratifying to see the girls deliver that kind of experience for their teammates. We hope everyone enjoys a nice late summer break, then we’ll be right back after it for fall ball! 🥎🖤🩵🏔️
