Osseo last played in a state big-school boys basketball championship game in 2009, when the Orioles were runner-up to Hopkins. That victory sent Hopkins on a string of three Class 4A championships.

North moves up to #2 in the state rankings and drops Eastview to #3 after handing them their first loss of the season this past Friday night! Congrats Panthers!

Quite an accomplishment this year already, but one more win for those lady Panthers and it's not only a STATE CHAMPIONSHIP, but an undefeated season all in one. Play your game girls and get them Bears wishing they stayed in hibernation early on!!

SOUTH-hurts to type it even...Tough to lose to them anytime, tougher in sections and ends the season & sure worst if last time you put on a Panther uniform. Thanks to all the great North fans who came! If didn't-game was back and forth until 63-55 final. They are a team you need to get inside some heads early on, but couldn't pull it off and they were able to pull thru to win. Stay tuned for final pics & recaps!

Another night of proving North can be much more than most people think and tough to beat.... if it ain't one guy, it's another knocking them down and when we play TEAM ball, our opponents don't know what (or who) hit them. Adam Petterson checks in and puts 'em in leading the team to a 64-49 win over Eagan! Next up cross town rival South on Saturday night at St. Olaf tipoff 8pm come on down!!!

Earned higher seed and a HOME game for the first round of sections.... this WEDNESDAY night at 7:00 at North. Come cheer the PANTHERS to victory over the Eagan Wildcats to move on toward the state tournament!

No news, was bad news... Almost a week has passed and still feeling the sting of our loss to BV. Tough to overcome the inspirational sixth man in the house as their coach is retiring and it was their last home game. They came out shootin' lights out and we did all to hang in there, lots of guys fouling out, etc... final 67-61.

As kids in the school yard might say... U-G-L-Y you ain't go no alibi ... but a win's a win at this point of season (17-8)! Took the lead w/first points, then didn't see it again until 8 seconds left. Behind even 7 or 9 for the most point, able to dig deep in final minutes and pull this one out for a final 49-45. Chalk it up as lesson learned, hopefully! Final regular season game Tues (10-14).

Knocked AV out of the top ten, don't know why they are keeping EP in there after we did them in, too! Oh well, off to kill another cat - the Jaquars are our next victim. TONIGHT in their house, Bloomington Jefferson (6-14) going down....

WHAT a NIGHT.... Quite the crowd (in more ways than one) turning out for Senior Night and our game against #9 rated Apple Valley to watch the Panthers put up quite the fight going pretty much point for point almost the whole way through and then taking them into OT to seal the deal and a BIG WIN for Lakeville North 64-...62. Tight race toward sections; North now 16-8 & AV 17-6. Anybody's game!
