Join us in welcoming our new staff! Check out their bios below.
Ali Martin:
Ali began dancing competitively at the age of five at a local studio in Lakeville. She trained in jazz, lyrical, contemporary, ballet, tap, and hip hop, and continued dancing throughout her high school years in both studio and dance team settings. Ali was a four-year member of the Cougar Dance Team, beginning in eighth grade, before finding her home at DanceWorks during her junior year. As a senior, she performed with the Senior Company, earning an 8th-place finish and a Judges’ Choice award for her solo, and also served as an assistant teacher for dancers ages 5-7. Ali continues to stay connected to dance at the University of St. Thomas, where she is a member of the dance club while pursuing her bachelor’s degree in nursing. Ali is currently on our summer staff co-teaching and training with Ms. Kelly. In the fall she will be instructing AB3 & 4 and K-1st classes! She is thrilled to return to DanceWorks as a member of the staff working with our young dancers!
