🚨 Breaking News from Samson... 🚨
Well... it finally happened.
My humans brought home this kitten... and his name is Sonny. 🐱😳 Nobody asked for my approval. Nobody consulted me.
I wasn't even invited to the family meeting. They keep saying, "You'll love Sonny!"
Meanwhile, he's about 2 pounds of fluff, tiny claws, and unlimited confidence. 😂
I guess I'll be teaching him the important things... where the treats are, how to patrol the backyard, and which squirrels are public enemy #1. 🐿️🐶. Welcome to the family, Sonny! ❤️🐾

Today was one of those PERFECT dog days! 🌞 It was awesome riding in the front seat on the way to Bryan Park. 🚗😎 I had the window down, my ears flapping in the breeze, and I knew an adventure was waiting for me! 🌳🐾
Once we got there, I ran wild through the streams, splashed in the water, chased smells that were definitely important, and zoomed around like I owned the place! 💦🐕💨
I just LOVE Bryan Park! ❤️ There are so many trails to explore and streams to splash through. It’s basically dog heaven. 🌿🐾
But somewhere along the way, I realized there was no chance I was getting my front-seat privileges on the ride home. 😂 I’m soaking wet, covered in mud, and, well… I stink! 🤣💦🐶
I’ve got a funny feeling a bath is in my future when we get home. 🛁 But honestly, every muddy, smelly second was worth it!
Now if you’ll excuse me, I have an important nap to take. 💤😴🐾

Happy Memorial Day, friends! 🇺🇸🐾
Unfortunately, the weather didn’t exactly cooperate today… but a little rain never stopped me from guarding the house, begging for snacks, or sneaking in a nap. ☔🐶
Today we remember and honor all the heroes who served our country and gave so much for our freedom. ❤️🤍💙
Hope everyone still finds time to relax, enjoy family and friends, and maybe save a burger or hot dog for your favorite four-legged buddy.

Just checking… is this what humans call a “selfie”? 🐶📸 Because from where I’m laying (literally UNDER everything), it looks more like a full-body dog sandwich situation. 😑
I was minding my business, being adorable, enjoying the ground…and next thing I know—BOOM—two full-grown humans pile on top of me like I’m memory foam.
And THEN… they take a picture like they’re the cute ones??
Excuse me.I am the foundation of this operation.Without me, this is just two people laying in the yard for no reason.
You’re welcome for the support—both emotional AND structural. 🐾😂

Shout-out to Richmond Animal Care & Control for offering free straw to city residents to keep outdoor pets warm 🐶❄️👏Appreciate the thought—but my little butt is a 100% indoor dog. Hard pass on the straw. I’ll be on the couch.

The COLD weather is coming our way (again) and we have FREE straw for any Richmond City resident pets in need. Pick up today through Friday 8-6pm at 1600 Chamberlayne Ave or call 804-646-5574 if you don’t have transportation. We encourage everyone to bring your pets inside when temps drop below freezing and can help with crates or temporary housing as needed. Please reach out if you or anyone you know needs help. ♥️
