NHRA Drag Racing at Coos Bay Speedway for Bracket Finals, Saturday Aug. 23 2025, was a fantastic display of Quick reaction times and great driving abilities on the strip. A very competitive day began with overcast skies but then opened up to make it hot and muggy. Some cars from Friday night did not make it back onto the drag strip Saturday. Congratulations to all the Bracket winners and the winners of the Wally Trophy. I missed out on the Wally races photos due to the heat and my health issues. In the words of a great friend and man, Travis Tollett, "Gimping ain't easy"!
Bless each and everyone of you and thank you for all your support. The racing world needs us.

NHRA Drag Racing Bracket Finals started off on Friday Aug 22, 2025 at Coos Bay Speedway. The weather was perfect for the evening as the competition started up. There were a few new cars at the race that I have not seen before.

Bracket Finals Tune-Up Weekend at The Strip August 22-24

This weekend at The Strip at Coos Bay Speedway it’s time for the Bracket Finals Tune-Up and another full weekend of racing on the 1/8 mile dragstrip!

For those making the long haul to Canada, this is your last chance to shake down your race car before the Bracket Finals. And for those not heading north, it’s still a perfect opportunity to enjoy some racing, camping, and good times with friends and family.

4 to the floor at Coos Bay Speedway Aug, 16 2025, was a great event. Lots of competitive driving on the track that evening to say the least. It was full of wheels in the air and a few fender benders along the way. Fortunately, there were no serious injuries to go along with the collisions.
