8/29 race recap.

We had a great night last night!

The races started out a bit hot (105 when we left our house, 100 up at the track but a little breeze helped and things cooled down pretty quickly.

Jackson started and finished 3rd in his heat and had some luck on his side in the pill draw for the main, pulling the 1.

Jackson had a great start in the main and held the lead the whole race! There was quite a battle going in behind him that he didn't see, the last couple laps he even made his way back around to the back of the pack right before the checkered flag came out. He got to do his victory lap and a quick high five from Dad as that wrapped up.

He did pretty well in his interview, though he gets a bit of stage fright and doesn't want to look up at the crowd lol. He loved the cider battle with the other main event winner kiddos.

We wrapped things up at the track with an awesome view of the moon and even made it home at a decent hour despite the delayed start due to the heat.

Very late 8/15 race recap.

Sorry for the late post, Reiter Racing Mom/social media manager lol has had a couple of hectic weeks.

Jackson's car had a few updates done from the previous race that seemed to help a bit so Jackson wasn't fighting the car so much in the turns.

He started 3rd in his heat and finished 4th. Then started 7th in the main and finished 4th.. He drove great, avoided a few potential collisions and had a great time! The track was a little muddy for the main (see the before and after lol) so everything has gotten a good bath and we're ready to go for today's race!

7/17 race recap.

Day one of the Summer shoot out is in the books!

Jackson started 3rd in his heat and finished 4th. The track seemed to do best with a single low line but he gave it a shot to pass on the top and unfortunately dropped a position.

For the main, the track was a little more forgiving with the second line. He started 8th in the main and managed to work his way up to 4th, trying to find which line worked for him at the time and avoiding a couple wrecks.

He also received his trophy from his main event win last race (but wasn't too thrilled with Mom taking his picture lol)!

We're camped out in the motorhome at the track for the weekend so Ralphie is here living his best race dog life.

Today we want to give a big shout out to The Old Jammin’ Twins. Not only are they a sponsor, but also some of Jackson's biggest cheerleaders (and Jackson's Grandma and Great Aunt)! We don't know what we'd do without them!

Just a few days before the Barona Speedway IMCA Summer Shootout! They say it takes a village and when it comes to racing, that couldn't be more true. We thought this was a perfect time to shout out some of the people in our "village", starting with our car owner, Brandon Painter and everyone at Painter-Built Motorsports.

Brandon and the family have been a part of our race family for quite a few years now, spanning from on (and off) the track to the desert, the beach, some memorable backyard hangouts full of shenanigans and everywhere inbetween.

They've been involved in our race program and contributed to Curtis's success in his last Pure Stock, a few rides in a sporty and helping facilitate some seat time in a Hobby Stock, Jackson's Masters mini dwarf, and is the owner of the Junior Sprint we're running. We're so grateful for Brandon and the family and happy to call them all part of our race family!
