TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS
APRIL 6/7, 2019 - El Cap & Otay Reservoir

Every Spring, each San Diego club has their winner from the previous year compete against each other in a two-day tournament. Jesse Gofigan killed it on the water these past two days and made our club proud!

The Bass Club of San Diego had a great time hosting today’s weigh-in event at Otay for the family and friends of the anglers. 🎣

Amazing job to all the fishermen who made it to the 2019 Tournament of Champions, and thank you to everyone who put together such a fun afternoon for our San Diego bass fishing clubs! 🎉

The Bass Club of San Diego’s second night tournament of the year was a smashing success. Great dinner, bent poles, and full live wells were the theme of the night.

Huge shout out to Road Rangers and East County Bass Masters for partnering with BCoSD once again. El Capitan was good to her anglers.

Better late then never, but congrats to our club member Dalton Wood for a Largemouth beat-down at Otay Lakes in April. Dirty D weighed in a whopping 18.40 lbs of bass with a big fish of 4.7 lbs. Congrats Dalton, way to go.

Bass Club of San Diego wants to send a huge shout out to our very own John Trotter, who not only caught big fish for the recent Tournament of Champions, but also brought home the trophy for the first time in our clubs history. Bass Club of San Diego prides itself on being a learning club, open to fun individuals willing to teach and learn. That being said, we sure as heck like put a whoppin' on the boys from time to time. Congrats John, you demonstrated that time on the water and adaption to adversity were the true keys to success.
