Also in the news today are the The Center for Disease Control guidelines for adult physical activity. The report, issued in December 2023, cites less than half of U.S. adults are getting enough aerobic exercise. Though that is an improvement over the prior report in 2020, there is still a gap in America.

The recommendation for adults is 150 minutes of moderate intensity aerobic activity, at a minimum, and 75 minutes minimum of vigorous aerobic activity.

Consistency is key, and one of the originals says it best, Jack LaLanne. Drop by CPT to learn how consistency can work for you!

You don’t need intensity.

At CPT we believe achieving your best life and health is a process. Like building a new home from the foundation to the roof, it is gradual work that completes the vision.

We believe in building blocks and starting with achievable goals. For example, if you’re new to exercise, start with a 10 minute walk. The next day or two, increase that by 5 minutes and then each day over the next week. Before you know it, you’ve burned calories for 30 minutes with ease.
