Also in the news today are the The Center for Disease Control guidelines for adult physical activity. The report, issued in December 2023, cites less than half of U.S. adults are getting enough aerobic exercise. Though that is an improvement over the prior report in 2020, there is still a gap in America.
The recommendation for adults is 150 minutes of moderate intensity aerobic activity, at a minimum, and 75 minutes minimum of vigorous aerobic activity.
