Another day of limits on Lake O! Ended with a nice mixed bag of Kings and Steelhead this morning....if we could have kept them hooked up we would have been done in a couple hours but that's what is fun about this place!

Back on the "limit train" this morning on Day 2 for the Baker couple. Eric charters with me on Erie several times a year and wanted to see what these Kings were about. They got to experience it this morning for sure. Was such a great sight to see after a TOUGH couple of days for me after a lake flip due to hard NE winds on Sat. Made a new plan of attack last night and it WORKED this morning! There is so much to fishing for these beasts...learn something everyday.

Limits on Day 2 for the Ware group with a mayhem with 2 monsters on a 300' of copper and 400' of copper at the same time! We managed and got them in the boat but my starboard dipsy divers didn't fair too well! 😂😂😂

Now time for a complete re-tie for these 2 and some other tackle maintenance on my day off tomorrow. These kings are just tackle busters and mean!

Another amazing day on Lake O for Day 1 for the Ware group. Started off with smaller steelies and one smaller king. Can back in shallow and found them! Caught probably the biggest steelhead I've seen and ended with a 38" King Stud that I'm guessing in the 24-26 lb range. Of course the battery in my weigh scales died....we ended with a full boat limit going 9 for about 15.

Great day with the Huff family for their day 2. Went 10 for 16 on mostly meat rigs....Lake O is giving it to us this year! Thanks Huff's for coming over...it was a blast!

Overall was a pretty good day for us today. This morning the bite was tough but we recovered nicely this afternoon.

A couple more days of fishing with the family and then it's back to charters.

After the recent blow we had of up to 40mph out of the east, we had to cover some water to find the right water that had the right temps, bait, and then the fish would be there. Ended up salvaging a pretty good.box of kings with a couple monster steelhead.
