TWO BOATS • TWO DAYS • GREAT LAKE ERIE FISHING!

The Chuck Haub group joined us for a two-boat, two-day Lake Erie walleye charter, and what a couple of days it was!

🐟 Day 1: Fishing east of the islands produced near-limit results as both boats worked hard to put fish in the boat.

🐟 Day 2: The fishing got even better! Both boats produced limits of walleye to finish the trip on a high note!

A special thank-you to Reel King Charters for helping us put this two-boat trip together and getting the second boat on the water. We appreciate you being part of a great couple of days on Lake Erie!

And a big THANK YOU to the entire Chuck Haub group for fishing with Badman Charters. It was great having you aboard, and we hope to see everyone again!

Kevin Amore had a busy day perch fishing on the lake. The group had never fished for perch before but quickly learned the technique. Despite the number of throwbacks, the perch were biting, both big and small. Saturday's trip concluded early, with the group reaching two-thirds of their limit before calling it a day. Thank you, Kevin! It was a great time with you, Kerry, Sidney, and Isaac. Although a lot of the fish weren't particularly impressive, the action was fantastic for first-timers!

The Bruce Karda group set out from the islands to try their luck at catching Canadian walleyes. The day started slowly, with only a few keepers caught, while they also had to contend with the ever-present sheephead. Fortunately, Mother Nature lent a hand when storms passed just south of the shore, providing us with some much-needed wind. By early afternoon, we had boxed our last walleye and began our slow return to South Bass to drop off the crew. With a skilled and experienced group on board, the day ultimately turned out to be a success.

Sunday turned out to be a great day on the water for the Russ Roth group. After two years of terrible weather, this year, Russ, Craig, Justin, and Pete joined me aboard the Badman to try their luck at catching walleyes. However, it turned out to be a short day; one of the group members felt they had had enough, and we wrapped up by 11:30 AM. Although we came in a little under the limit for walleyes, we still caught a remarkable grade of fish while drifting.

I had another great day drifting on The Badman. Jeff Hoblit's group from New Carlisle came out and left with their limit. We caught and released many undersized walleyes, along with filling their cooler. We ended up farther away than where we started, but it was nice to have the area all to ourselves. That's when the fishing really picked up, turning from a slow bite into a catch fest.

A group from Pennsylvania, organized by Dan Bookser, came for a day of walleye fishing. With over 20 years of experience on the lake and fishing aboard The Badman, these seasoned anglers quickly caught their limit. Despite what seemed to be a very windy day, the trip turned out to be another successful one.
