**NFA update regarding silencers

Good morning Facebook. In light of recent events specifically regarding the silencershop vs. atf and the new ruling regarding NFA transfers we are excited to announce that we will be doing 4473 transfers starting Monday August 31st. In order for us to be able to do that you must either order directly from Silencer Shop online and chose Tier One Fi****ms as your dealer or you can come into the store and purchase directly from me. We have sold out on in store stock but we can still order your desired can as long as it is in stock at Silencer Shop.

NFA / Silencer Transfer Update

On August 5, 2026, the federal court entered judgment against ATF and DOJ on key NFA registration requirements, and the court’s order took effect on August 13, 2026. Silencer Shop currently states that qualifying suppressors purchased through Silencer Shop in Florida may be transferred without a Form 4, using the applicable Form 4473 and background-check process.

This is exciting news for the fi****ms and suppressor industry. However, there are still important questions surrounding how dealers are supposed to handle these transfers from a compliance and inventory-record standpoint.

Suppressors received by an FFL/SOT are entered into the dealer’s regulated inventory, and the dealer remains responsible for properly documenting their disposition. At this time, we have not received the clear written operational guidance from ATF and/or FDLE that we believe is necessary for Tier One Fi****ms to begin transferring suppressors from our inventory using only a Form 4473 and FDLE background check.

For that reason, Tier One Fi****ms & Ammo Sales will gladly continue selling suppressors, but at this time we will continue submitting the applicable Form 4 before transferring the suppressor to the customer.

We understand that other dealers may interpret the ruling differently and have already begun completing qualifying suppressor transfers without a Form 4. We respect those businesses and wish them the best. Our decision is simply based on what we believe is the responsible approach for our FFL/SOT and, most importantly, our customers until we receive clear guidance concerning the proper dealer procedure.

As soon as ATF, FDLE, or other appropriate authorities provide clear, actionable guidance regarding these transfers, Tier One Fi****ms will adjust our procedures accordingly.

We appreciate everyone's patience and continued support as the fi****ms industry navigates what could be one of the most significant changes to suppressor regulation in decades.
