With a team of just 11 dancers—and 6 of them experiencing UDA camp for the very first time—these accomplishments mean so much to us. We are incredibly proud of how hard this team worked, how much they grew, and the way they supported one another all week long.

We’re so grateful for this experience and can’t wait to bring everything we learned back to practice. Get ready for an amazing season from the McKeel Dazzlers! 💙✨

See below for a look into our new Head Coach, Olivia Kerst’s dance background! 💙✨

I grew up dancing at Carol Grayson School of Dance and started competing with them at the age of 8. I was also a Dazzler while I attended school at MAT from 8th to 10th grade! After graduating high school, my dance journey continued when I danced on the SunDolls Dance Team at the University of South Florida from 2019 until I graduated in 2022, and I had the honor of being a captain during my final year on the team.

While in college, I also taught our competitive dance teams at my former studio until it closed in 2022. After that, I continued to teach competitive dance independently and began teaching at All Saints Academy and Wendy’s Dance Company.

Coming back to MAT as the Head Coach of the Dazzlers feels incredibly full circle! I’m so excited to give these dancers the same unforgettable experiences, growth, and memories that dance gave me.

Let’s make it an amazing season! 💫
