How bizarre…

But please. Don’t do it.

My July session of new babies is nearly over! Graduation week here we come, next week is the last week! Thankful for everyone who’s trusted me with their babies and big kids! After next week, I’ll see you all in maintenance in September🫡

PS please feel free to take pictures and post them! If your page is private I won’t be able to see it! You’re more than welcome to text me any and all pics and videos🩵🤍

After your initial 6 weeks into survival swim, we offer once a week maintenance to continue their skillsets and adjust to their growing bodies! In the first six weeks your child is learning so many new things, it’s uncomfortable, it’s not their idea, it can be hard. Hard to watch. Hard to listen to the crying (for some…not all - sometimes you need to laugh at them for being ridiculous). But, what happens when you do new things that were uncomfortable in the beginning? They become EASY and FUN. THAT is why we have maintenance once a week.

Some kids don’t stop crying for a few weeks, months, sometimes it takes years for them to just decide they’re done with it. Some are happy right away. There’s no timeline for either, it’ll eventually stop. Trust the process.

Whenever the parents say to me, “I don’t know how you deal with the crying all day…” I always respond, “I don’t hear the crying. I hear them breathing. Crying. Talking. Growling at me, it all means AIR. Plus, I’d rather hear them be upset with me for 10 minutes, than to never hear them again.” They can give me ALL the things, and guess what? At the end of the day, your child is turning over and BREATHING! I’m cool with molding the rest.

I’m sharing this video because it’s proof that if you stick it out, which goes for anything in life, things become easier. It takes time, practice, and some work along the way. But they’re capable and CAN do it. It’s so very worth it. Tough love goes a long way.

Teach your kids that life isn’t easy, but if you do the things you don’t want to do, you get better, AND you might even like it eventually 😉

Bitter sweet goodbyes! 🥹🫶🏽🩵

We love when families who start their itty bitty babies with us stay for SO many years , but we also get so very sad when we see them grow up and leave us! We are so very thankful for EACH and every one of our families who stick it out and stay with us for the long haul. We become so close and so invested in each of your lives that we sometimes take it home with us. Constantly thinking, “Are they winning their races?”, “Are they adjusting well to the new house ?”, “I wonder how their families are doing?”. It’s so much more than a swim lesson. Thank you for supporting us, as much as we support you!

To all the families who have moved away, and/or out grown us for swim team, we appreciate and will miss every single one of you! Always send us videos of your kids swimming and keep us in the loop of if they’re winning every race, but never practicing (you know who you are😂)!

‼️HOT TAKE: puddle jumpers and floaties are putting your kids in the drowning position. When they don’t have them on and jump in the pool when no one’s watching, guess where they’re going? THE BOTTOM, waiting to be rescued.

Survival swim lessons teach children to hold their breath with their faces in the water, roll to their backs when they’re out of air, and roll face in to get to their destination. If they jump in without you there, no floaties or puddle jumpers needed. They’ll swim float swim to get out, no worries! This could be your child next year.

December 29, 2026 12:00 noon we open our schedules for New Students for 2027. Returning families new babies scheduled first in app, then we will open to the public via Google doc. Link will be in bio. Put it in your calendar and may the odds be ever in your favor!
