At Mermaid Mom Private Swim, the safety of our swimmers, families, and instructors will always come before completing a lesson.

With Florida’s unpredictable weather, we follow a strict Lightning Safety Policy:
🌩️ No lessons if lightning is detected within 10 miles
⏸️ Lessons are delayed or rescheduled when necessary
🏃 Everyone exits the pool immediately if storms move in
⏱️ We wait 30 minutes after the last lightning strike or thunder before considering resuming
❤️ No exceptions, because one lesson is never worth risking a life.
