If your plans include time by the pool, make sure you keep a close eye on the kiddos. Never leave them unattended around water. Accidents can happen in a split second.

Drowning is a serious problem, particularly for children in Florida. According to the Florida Department of Health, Florida has one of the highest drowning rates in the country, with an average of 10 drowning deaths each week.
