Roles reversed: Yesterday was one of those moments that reminds you why rugby is different.

Maulers coaches and dads took the field together while the kids lined the sidelines cheering them on.

Some of these dads have played rugby for decades, some dusted off their boots for the first time in years; while others were playing rugby for the very first time. Yet every player received the same encouragement, support, and excitement from our young Maulers.

It’s a reminder that rugby is more than a game—it’s a community where players, parents, coaches, and kids all share the experience together.

Thank you to Kenosha Mammoths Rugby Football Club for hosting a great tournament; and to our friends Lake County R.F.C. and Northwest Woodsmen Rugby Club for making the day even more exciting!

Good morning! Quick update on the Lucky Scrum Showdown (July 12th youth 7s tournament). We need to set a registration deadline of next Friday (June 26th) in order to have time for the player's shirt orders.

Sunshine, rugby and a day that proved what makes the rugby community so special.

Big thank you to Lake County Youth Coyotes for hosting an incredible festival and to McHenry County Youth Rugby, Lincoln-Way Youth Rugby, South Side Irish Youth Rugby and Chiefs Youth Rugby for an awesome day of competition, sportsmanship and fun.

The Maulers loved every minute of it.

Happy Mother’s Day to all of the incredible Maulers moms out there!

From early mornings and late nights, to muddy jerseys, sideline cheers, post-game snacks, and nonstop support — this club wouldn’t exist without you. Thank you for the sacrifices you make, the love you pour into your kids, and the energy you bring to our community every single week.

The strength of the Maulers starts at home, and we are beyond grateful for all of the amazing moms helping raise tough, kind, confident young athletes.
