"Does my bike feel right?"

Not "Does it technically work?"

Does it feel right?

Does it shift the way it normally does?

Do the brakes feel the same?

Are there new noises?

Does anything feel loose, rough, or different?

If the answer is yes, don't wait until you're halfway through your ride to find out what that feeling was trying to tell you.

What's the most expensive bike repair?

The one you could have prevented.

A small problem doesn't always stay small.

A loose component can damage another component. A worn part can damage something more expensive. A small adjustment issue can eventually become a much bigger repair.

That's why preventative maintenance matters.

We're not interested in finding things to fix just because we can.

We're interested in helping you keep your bike running properly and avoid unnecessary expense.

Sometimes spending a little on maintenance is the smartest way to avoid spending a lot on repairs.

🔧 – Performance Check TUESDAY

If your bike doesn't feel quite right, trust that feeling.

Most bike problems don't happen overnight. They develop gradually, making it easy to adapt without realizing how much performance you've lost.

Slower shifting.
Extra noise.
Less responsiveness.

The good news? Most of these issues are easy to identify and often easier to fix than people expect.

Here's something I want every rider to pay attention to:

How do your brakes feel?

Not just whether they stop you—but whether they feel the same every time you pull the lever.

If the lever feels softer than it used to, you have to pull it farther, braking feels inconsistent, or you're hearing something new, don't ignore it.

Your brakes are one of the most important systems on your bike.

A brake inspection can identify problems before they become a safety issue—or leave you without stopping power when you need it most.

Your bike should give you confidence.
