The infestation was confirmed in Texas on Thursday, June 4. As the situation develops, states may begin implementing inspection protocols, health certification requirements and movement restrictions, particularly in and around affected areas.

Adopted for 2026 under Outdoor Rule 31 – Carrying a Ball, a player may deflect the ball with any part of their body one time during a possession.

The change aligns USPA rules with other polo associations worldwide.

“Doc” Fredericks passed away on Thursday, May 14, at the age of 83. Born on July 3, 1942, Doc lived a life defined by vision, determination and a deep commitment to the pursuits, traditions and people he valued most.
