We are incredibly proud of our LWHS Swim Team for their strong performance at the Regional Meet today! Every swimmer showed heart, grit, and determination representing Lake Wales with excellence. ⚡️🔥

A special congratulations to our Regional Champion, Marcos Cabrera, who claimed the title in the 100 Breaststroke and will be advancing to the State Championship next week in Ocala! 🥇🏆

🔥 New County Record Alert! 🔥

Congratulations to Marcos Cabrera, our two-time County Champion, for setting a new Polk County Record in the 100 Breaststroke with a time of 58.23 — breaking a record that stood since 1993 and winning the 50 Free as well.

An incredible swim and a true testament to hard work, focus, and Highlander pride.
