Lake Villa Flying Dragons We are a martial arts school that teaches the art of KiMu Do. KiMu Do is a blended martial art that combines elements of many traditional martial arts styles.

KiMudo is a family friendly martial arts program that focuses on teaching effective and practical self-defense that can be used by men, women, and children. KiMudo is a Korean martial art that incorporates core elements of Tae Kwon Do, Hapkido, and Judo. KiMudo is designed to be practical, versatile, and effective at a variety of different ranges and in a diverse set of situations. The Tae Kwon Do

derived kicks and strikes provide excellent power at medium and long range, while the throws, locks, chokes and joint manipulation of Judo and Hapkido allow for close range fighting and grappling. In addition to its core elements, KiMudo also includes techniques from Jujitsu, Karate, boxing, wrestling, and traditional weapons from Okinawa & the Philippines. KiMudo is more than just a successful system of self-defense; it is a martial art that encourages students to realize their own potential physically, mentally and spiritually. Students are expected to continually strive to improve themselves both in the do-jang, and in every other area in their life.

Good evening,

This is Master Frank at the Lake Villa Flying Dragons and the McHenry Flying Dragons. Due to an unforseen scheduling conflict there will be no tournament workouts at either school tomorrow (Friday).

Additionally, there will be no Jiu-Jitsu class on Friday at Lake Villa and no color belt classes or black belt class on Saturday. The color belt test will still be held.

The first group is at 230pm for those testing for Yellow Stripe, Yellow Belt, Green Stripe, and Green Belt. Please arrive by 215pm

The second group will start at 330pm for those testing for Blue Stripe and above. Please arrive at 315pm.

Good evening, this is Master Frank Unfortunately, the school does not currently have heat and is currently sitting at 46 degrees. My landlord informed me that the repair person cannot make it until tomorrow morning. With that said, I have to cancel classes tomorrow morning. I'm very sorry for the inconvenience this may cause. The school should reopen on Monday as scheduled.

Good afternoon this is Master Mueller. I was just informed by our landlord that there is a small pipe leaking at the lake villa flying dragons and the heat is not functioning properly. So that he can get a crew in there to fix things today, i have to cancel both classes tonight. My apologies for the inconvenience, if you would like to go to mchenry for class please reach out to me privately so I can get you the time and address. The school should reopen on Tuesday.

Good morning to our martial arts family and friends!

I'm very thankful to have each of you as a part of my life, well beyond the dojang. It's been an absolute honor and privilege to be a part of your journey. I sincerely wish you all a very Happy Thanksgiving.

It's so very important for families to connect and reconnect over the holidays including our students and our instructors. With that said, Please remember that the school will be closed today and Saturday for the holiday.
