Dear Post Members,
Each year, the Rainbow Ice Jamboree raises funds through our 50/50 raffle to support a local family in need within our community. This year, while there was no immediate family need, we felt strongly that this was an opportunity to give back to the men and women who so selflessly serve this great country.
It is truly an honor for us to be able to assist Post 318 as you recover from the losses suffered in the recent fire. Please know that these funds represent the generosity of every single person who attended this year’s Rainbow Ice Jamboree—nearly 350 individuals—as well as the many volunteers who made the event possible. A special thank-you goes out to the wonderful ladies who helped sell the raffle tickets and kept everything running smoothly.
One half of this year’s 50/50 raffle totaled $1,987. The winner, whom many of you know, was Gary Frank, owner of Sportsman Chalet in St. Germain. Without hesitation, Gary generously donated $488 of his winnings back to Post 318. My wife and I truly understand how important this support is to your post, and together with 4 Star Realty and the Rainbow Ice Jamboree, we are honored to contribute an additional $525 to bring the total donation to an even $3,000.
Thank you for everything you do for our veterans, and for the continued support you show to other local clubs and organizations in our community. Your dedication does not go unnoticed, and we are proud to stand beside you.
God Bless America,
