Congrats to our senior, #13 Kameron Williams
This weeks finalists for the IMPACT Player Award brought to you by Northeast Delta Human Services Authority…..Mangham started off the week with a 54-14 win over Lakeview. Austin Lively threw for 2 touchdowns and ran for another, Matt Thomas caught the 2 touchdowns and Rylan Hatton had 14 tackles for the Dragons. Mangham travels to 22 Centerville
In our Downs Law Game of the Week, General Trass overcame a 6-0 halftime deficit to defeat Arcadia 22-6. Ahmoniee Williams ran for 101 yards and 2 touchdowns and Joshua Hopkins 8 tackles and 2 sacks. Tyreun Fields came back from an injury to record 8 tackles, 2 for loss and a sack for Arcadia in the loss. The Panthers travel to the 4 seed Haynesville
Caldwell’s QJ Donald ran for both of Caldwell’s TDs in their 13-6 win over Richwood. The Spartans travel back to Jena
This week’s Aaron’s Ace DeAndra Young ran for 163 yards and 2 touchdowns as Delhi Charter beat Slaughter Charter 26-22. The Gators travel to the 1 seed Vermilion Catholic
Zy Warren threw for a TD and ran for another as Homer beat Delhi 28-8. In a losing effort, Jason Johnson had 14 tackles, a forced fumble and 2 sacks for the Bears. Homer hosts Oakdale Friday
Glenbrook QB Landon Powell threw for 3 scores as the Apaches beat Sacred Heart 49-12. Glenbrook travels to the 6th seed St Mary’s
North Webster QB Xaxier McGlothan threw for 57 yards and a TD and added 2 touchdowns and 104 yards on the ground as the Knights defeated Patterson 42-0. The Knights travel to St James next week
Antron Mason Jr ran for 174 yards and a touchdown and recovered a fumble for the Wossman Wildcats as they beat Brusly 26-7. Wossman travels to the 22 seed Northwest
Ferriday beat Jonesboro-Hodge 34-6 and QB Caleb Ellis led the way with 146 yards passing and 2 touchdowns and added 46 rushing yards and another touchdown for the Trojans. Freshman Andrew Foster added 2 interceptions. Ferriday travels to Kentwood, the 2 seed
Our runner up is Caldwell D lineman Donnie Brooks. Brooks had 13 tackles and a forced fumble as the Spartans held Richwood to 6 points and advanced to the second round.
This week’s winner of the Northeast Delta HSA Impact Player is General Trass linebacker/running back Kameron Williams. Williams ran for 175 yards and a 2 pt conversion, he had 9 tackles (2 for loss on defense), a sack and a 55-yard fumble return for a TD. Williams will receive this fancy trophy from All Star Trophies and Awards today. Also, Pure Drip Wellness is also donating a Free Sauna and Cold Plunge Session to our winner.
