Marely Tamayo, a Lake Placid Green Dragon, was named to the Best of Highlands County All-County Volleyball Team as libero. A special section will be published June 24 sharing the names of all student athletes named as a one of the Highlands News-Sun's Best of Highlands High School Sports All-County athletes.

We concluded our season last Friday with our awards banquet. We extend our sincere gratitude to Dave and Marcy Irwin for preparing our amazing dinner. It was a fun night and wonderful to see everyone together again. 💚🏐

Attention!! Our Banquet is being rescheduled from Monday 4/20 to Friday 4/23. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, but due to the bad weather last week, some of our girls now have a game Monday April 20th. I want to make sure that everyone can come to the banquet, so we have moved it to Friday, April 24th. I hope you all can make it please re-RSVP to me and let me know if you are coming or not and how many so I can let the caterer know for food.
