Today was a layday (attempt to recover from jetlag day), so we visited some of the 1932/1980 Lake Placid Winter Olympic venues. Tonight we met with the U.S Junior athletes who we will be sliding with today. I am so proud of how our athletes conducted themselves playing ball games in the gymnasium with kids a bit younger than themselves. They showed true sporting, team and leadership spirit. Wish them well for their first day of sliding today...I am so proud of them all!

Whistle stop at Saratoga Springs, NY...the snow is beginning as we get closer to the mountains...the girls got off to throw some snowballs (iceballs!)
