The Lake Placid Majors All-Stars open tournament play tonight against North Lakeland in Game 1 of the All-Star Tournament. While we’re playing away from home, we know our Lake Placid community is cheering them on from near and far!

Big thank you to Lake Placid Little League for traveling to LaBelle for last night’s games! The kids had a great time, and it was awesome to see such positive attitudes and great sportsmanship all around. That’s what it’s all about! 💥⚾️

⚾️ Lake Placid Little League Runs on Volunteers… (and Maybe a Little Coffee) and this week is officially National Volunteer Week. ☕️

If you’ve ever wondered how it all comes together—fields lined, schedules set, snacks stocked, kids playing, and everything somehow (mostly 😅) running on time—the answer is simple: our incredible volunteers.

From our Board of Directors, to our amazing coaches and our volunteer umpires, from our concession stand volunteers to our equipment and fundraising staff, from our scorekeeprs to our treasurers and secretary, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts! 

Lake Placid Little League is 100% volunteer-powered, and we truly couldn’t do this without the dedicated people who show up again and again… especially the ones working behind the scenes where no one’s clapping, but everything would fall apart without them.

From late-night emails and early morning field prep to organizing, fixing, coordinating, and putting out the occasional “fire”—you are the heartbeat of this league.

So today, we just want to say “THANK YOU.”
For your time, your energy, your patience, and yes… your willingness to do all the things no one wants to do and no else sees.

We appreciate you more than you know. ❤️⚾️
