🔥 Standing Strikes – Defend smart and transition with control
🔥 Transitions to the Guard / Sacrifice Throws – Commit fully and regain initiative
🔥 Guard – Build a strong, active guard with consistent effort from the bottom

Hey team! We’ve made a few small tweaks to our weekly schedule to give everyone better training options. Not much has changed, just some clean-ups and combinations to make things smoother!

What’s New:
Wednesday – Tiny Champions & Little Champions 2 have been turned into regular Gi classes.
Friday at 5 PM – Our Juniors class is now nogi and will now be open to Little Champions 2 students.

Everything else stays the same. These changes will help us run stronger, more consistent classes while giving our younger athletes better training environments.

New Schedule Update - June 1st, 2026

Hey team! We’ve made a few small tweaks to our weekly schedule to give everyone better training options. Not much has changed, just some clean-ups and combinations to make things smoother!

What’s New:

🇺🇸 Happy Memorial Day from all of us at Gracie Barra Lake Orion

Today we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country. We owe our freedom and way of life to their courage, dedication, and selflessness.

We are grateful for their service and for the freedoms we get to enjoy every single day — including the ability to train, grow, and build community on the mats.
We will be closed today in observance of the holiday, but we’ll be back on the mats tomorrow with regular classes.

Thank you to all who have served.
