This past Saturday, on Falls Lake, we had our 3rd event of the year and it was quite the event. For those that were not able to attend i wish you could have been there as we saw the biggest weights brought in during an AFFL-NC Tournament. We had 4 teams participate in what turned out to be a great event. All teams reported catching 20+ fish during their day, and several big fish were brought to the scales. 1st place went to Jarred Branch and John Shirley with 20.34, 2nd place went to Jason Burnette and Wesley Gray with 19.34, and 3rd place went to Austin Casey and Braden Scherer with 14.36. Big Bass went to Jared Branch and John Shirley with 7.63.
Our next Tournament will be on June 6th at Shearon Harris, out of Hollemans Crossing boat launch. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone there and hoping to see weights close to what we had at Falls Lake.

I apologize as I am very late with this post. We held our second event on the Chowan River back on April 18th. Everyone caught a lot of fish and had a blast. We had 8 teams participate.
1st place went to Spencer Moffitt and Austin Casey with 16.22, 2nd place went to Wesley Bennett and James Shelburn with 14.38, and 3rd place went to Christian and Ronnie Bland with 13.66. Big Bass went to Jeff Galloway and Hugo Roman with 5.96.

We have our next event this Sat May 16th on Falls Lake. Launching out of lower Barton creek boat launch. I will be onsite at 5am to register teams. If we have any new teams that want to sign up but having trouble on the web site. Find me Sat morning and we will get you signed up.
I am looking forward to seeing everyone Sat morning!!!

Our Next event is on the 18th of April on the Chowan River. There is still time to get registered for this season and qualify for our 2027 National Tournament. Looking forward to our next one and get signed up and join us this year.

We had a Great Event Sat the 21st with our neighbors north of us, AFFL-Virginia on Lake Gaston. We had 11 teams from both Brigades fish in this event, and we are already looking to do another event with Virginia next season. All but two teams came in with a five-fish limit.
1st Place went to James Shelburn and Westly Bennett with 14.90
2nd Place went to Curtis Shaw with 12.64
3rd Place went to Wesley Gray and Jason Burnett with 11.52
Big Bass went to Justin Basil with a 4.90 Spotted Bass
It truly was a great day for everyone.

Our first one will be this Saturday, March 21, beginning at Safe Light (around 7am). We will launch from Summitt Launch, and I will be on-site at 0530 to start signing teams in. Virginia will be joining us for this event, so it will be a great one. I am looking forward to seeing those who are returning and all the new teams joining. If you are having trouble signing up, let me know, and we will get it worked out.
