ok, you have 8-0 ( #13) Memphis ranked behind 7-1 ( #4) Alabama. Memphis beat ( #18) Ole MIss. Ole MIss beat Alabama. Not sure this is what we were fighting for.

With the BCS system, both OSU and Oregon would have been left out of the Title Game... now with a playoff they are playing each other for the National Title. Makes the argument to expand to 6 or 8 teams valid. Loving this!!!

I feel for Baylor and TCU but had this been a BCS year, Oregon and Ohio State would also have been left out. This CFP format should teach is that the playoff needs to be expanded to 6 or 8 teams.

Two teams that bickered with each other for weeks found common ground on Sunday: anger about being left out of the playoff.

One thing we've learned with this first ever four team playoff is.... we need more teams in the playoff. Most likely TCU and Baylor are left out with Ohio State getting in with Oregon, FSU and Bama. If this were the BSC we'd have either an undefeated FSU left out or a deserving Oregon. An eight team playoff is all we need.

Its funny to watch all the experts try to decide which one loss teams should be left out of the playoff this year. Im waiting for someone to come out and say the playoff field should be expanded to six or eight teams.

It's on, the best season of the year!!! As much as I am still against the BCS system, at least we have the 4 team playoff this year. It's definitely a step in the right direction but far from what needs to happen. I'd rather debate whether we should have 8, 10 or 12 teams in a playoff than why an undefeated #3 team was left out of the mix. We're moving in the right direction.

If Kansas State would've stayed undefeated, the polls and computers would've unanimously chosen Notre Dame over Alabama as the worthy entrant into the BCS title game. Lol.
