This was Evy’s (8 years old) first time ever trying wakesurfing!! It only took an hour to go from ‘never tried it’ to staying on the wave! So proud of her!

Levi just keeps taking the beating, but won’t stop until he gets the Tantrum! Super proud of his effort!!

The Tantrum…when people ask me what is my least favorite flip to do, they are surprised when I tell them a Tantrum. It’s actually one of the first flips people learn and is considered a beginner flip. If you throw it the right way, it’s one of the easiest flips to do. But this is one of those flips where you have to square up, wait to get the pop off the wake, and trip the flip - all of which I struggle with. My biggest problem is not waiting and throwing it early. In wakeboarding there are certain things that are counterintuitive. This is one of them. Your brain says if you throw a trick early, you’ll have more time to get around and land it, but this results in not getting enough pop off the wake which results in having less time to land the trick. Waiting to get the pop = more time to do the trick.

Talk about persistence at age 12! Levi wanted to land the Scarecrow so bad! He took a beating with a side of tears, but wouldn’t stop until he landed it!

Georgia tried wakeboarding before, but couldn’t get up. By the end of the lesson, she was crossing both wakes, surface 180s, and bunny hops!
