Boys Basketball Youth Tryout Dates are set, mark your calendars!

ALL 7th graders interested in playing travel ball will need to be at the tryouts, as there is no Rec team in 7th and 8th grade.

8th grade wont need tryouts and will have just the one team.

5th and 6th graders can try out for the club team, but there will be only one. Rec will also sponsor a team for those grades and if players would just like to sign up for rec, they do not need to attend these tryouts.

2025 Lake Mills Boys Basketball Summer Camp. Camp will run from June 9-12 at Lake Mills Elementary School at the following times:
2nd-5th Grade- 1:00-2:30 PM
6th-8th Grade- 2:30-4:00 PM
After completing this registration a check for $50 (Made out to "Lake Mills Hoops") or cash, along with which camper it is for, should be sent to:

Registrations/payments need to be completed by May 15 to guarantee a T-Shirt and a spot in camp. Late signups will be accepted, but a T-Shirt cannot be guaranteed after that date.

Location: Lake Mills Elementary School
Cost: $50 which includes camp T-Shirt

2022-2023 Youth Basketball Club tryout information:

We will be holding tryouts for our traveling teams on the dates and times attached to this post.

All 7th and 8th grade players should attend and will play through the LMYBC.

We will sponsor 1 team each at the 5th and 6th grade level. All 5th and 6th grade players are welcome to try out for these teams. Anyone who is not selected for this year's teams, should sign up through the recreation department for the Bucky level BDL team. If you are in 5th and 6th grade and do not wish to try out for the Badger level LMYBC team, you do not need to attend, and can sign up through the rec department.

Players in 3rd and 4th grade can sign up for travel basketball through the rec department, and there will be no club tryouts.

If you cannot make it to the club tryouts for your grade level, contact Coach Hicklin ([email protected]) and we will figure out the best way for you to be evaluated. Any other questions you can check with Coach Hicklin as well.
