𝙏𝙝𝙞𝙨. 𝙄𝙨. 𝙇𝙖𝙠𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙙𝙚.
These servant-leader Warrior wrestlers and Coach Haley made Twice is Nice volunteers and managers VERY happy today by organizing 659 boxes at the store today (yes, someone kept track 😁-- there was a contest for who could guess closest by the end). Their day involved hours of coordinated ladder climbing and heavy box hauling/stacking that the regular volunteers could never have accomplished without help. We are all so thankful for these generous hearts 💙 They not only wrestle to the glory of God, they serve others to His glory as well! Thanks, guys of Lakeside Lutheran Wrestling!

Multi-talented wrestlers! Lakeside performed Matilda the Musical this weekend and 9 wrestlers were part of the show! (And one coach in the pit orchestra :)

If you know the musical, you know many of the roles are a HUGE challenge, but our wrestlers stepped up and glorified God with their varied gifts!

Congratulate Lucy Kuchta, Ashlyn Jones, Haylie Reese, Katie Abel, Amelia Foster, Landon Wolski, Carter Hendricks, Sam Garcia, and Alan Burris on a delightful, mysterious, and hilarious performance of Matilda the Musical!

Angelic solos, fabulous bombasticness, hitting lines, hitting marks, making sure the lights follow that goofy Mr Wormwood, staying with the group, dancing with energy, anthemic wide gestures, fainting convincingly without hurting yourself….

These wrestlers BROUGHT it!

We wrestle (and act and stage manage and tech crew and make music) for God’s glory!

Congratulations to our 10 (TEN!) Lakeside Lutheran Warrior wrestlers who were awarded an ACADEMIC ALL-STATE award by the Wisconsin Wrestling Association.

Honorable Mention, Juniors: Lucy Kuchta, Jack Thiele, Maddie Welchman
Honorable Mention, Sophomore: Zechariah Richart
Honorable Mention, Freshman: Bridget Schilling

These wrestlers won this award by maintaining a 3.7 GPA or higher while wrestling at a Varsity level. Congratulations, Warrior Wrestlers! Way to set the standard for their team and their school while wrestling for God’s glory!
