Tang Soo Do Studio Owners and Practitioners

Allow me to introduce you to the Tang Soo Do Mi Guk Kwan Association, Inc. (TSDMGK). The TSDMGK is a member-driven martial arts organization that provides opportunities for growth for you and your students. It has a proven curriculum that is based on the traditional Tang Soo Do art form.
The TSDMGK Association is headed by Grandmaster Charles Ferraro, 10th Dan. Grandmaster Ferraro has over 50 years’ experience in Tang Soo Do. Grandmaster Ferraro has overseen the promotion of over 5,000 Dan members and 400 master level instructors. TSDMGK’s TAC travels the country helping masters and instructors in their growth and understanding of the Tang Soo Do art form.
The TSDMDK Association conducts regional Dan testing in each of the ten regions semi-annually throughout the USA. As regions develop, the TSDMGK encourages each region to host local TSD championships so the students of the TSDMGK dojangs can compete in a field of traditional TSD practitioners. Additionally, the TSDMGK Association sponsors an annual national championship open to all TSD practitioners regardless of their parent organization. It is considered one of the premier TSD events in the USA. Finally, all of our member schools are automatically members of the Worldwide Tang Soo Do Family, an international organization that is home to thousands of Tang Soo Do practitioners from many countries from all around the globe. The Worldwide TSD Family hosts a World Championship every other year where practitioners from all around the world come together to compete and learn from each other. Our next World Championship is scheduled to be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 2027.
The TSDMGK Association also sponsors regional training opportunities where the members can participate and learn, empty hand, weapon and self-defense techniques from our pool of senior masters.
The TSDMGK Association is looking to expand into other areas in the USA and is actively seeking orphaned masters, interested practitioners, and new member studios who are interested in helping us to grow our association across the United States.
