Big Things Are Happening in Lake Lure in 2026! 🎉

2026 is shaping up to be an incredible year for Lake Lure, NC, highlighted by the return of the lake to full capacity and a full calendar of amazing events for locals and visitors alike.

One of the biggest celebrations will be the July 4th Weekend (July 3–5) featuring the largest fireworks show ever, celebrating the restoration of the lake. It’s going to be a moment the whole community can enjoy together.

You can see and vote for a tree by donation at the Lake Lure Inn & Spa. If you can't visit the Giving Tree Trail in person, you can still vote / give by using our unique QR code.
