Big Things Are Happening in Lake Lure in 2026! 🎉

2026 is shaping up to be an incredible year for Lake Lure, NC, highlighted by the return of the lake to full capacity and a full calendar of amazing events for locals and visitors alike.

One of the biggest celebrations will be the July 4th Weekend (July 3–5) featuring the largest fireworks show ever, celebrating the restoration of the lake. It’s going to be a moment the whole community can enjoy together.

We enjoyed decorating a special tree this year! This tree is decorated with fun memories from our adventures and reminders of why we can celebrate this season and all year long. You can see and vote for a tree by donation at the Lake Lure Inn & Spa. If you can't visit the Giving Tree Trail in person, you can still vote / give by using our unique QR code. We wish each of you a very merry holiday season!

It's December!! We'll be conserving our resources with reduced office hours during the first few weeks of the month. To guarantee tour availability, please reserve by 7:00pm the night before. We may not open the office on days with no advance reservations. Tour availability and booking options are always available online if you don't catch us in the office. We'll boost things up again between Christmas and New Year's. Happy Adventures! :D
