The 20th Annual Gobbler's Revenge is done! We had an excellent time. Lots of good fencing, people came from all over Texas to fence. Thanks very much to our amazing referee cadre, and please enjoy this enormous album of pictures from the event.

One week to the Gobbler's Revenge! Mixed epee is now a C2 with 28 people signed up. The cap is 35, so if you want to fence go sign up!

Women's Epee is at 13 right now, two more people and it's a D1!

Y12 and Y14 are at 8 and 5, so plenty of room there.

$25 to fence! Come out and work some of that turkey off!

We had an excellent time at Dragon Heart Fencing Academy's School's Out May competition today. Thanks for hosting it! And congrats to all our fencers who went and fenced, y'all did great!

The 19th Annual Gobbler's Revenge Epee competition is done! We had a great time. Fencers and refs came from all over Texas, we had a huge turnout (34 fencers in Div2 Mixed Epee!), tons and tons of good fencing. Full results here:

Huge thanks to Colinda Friehauf, Rachel Ayala, and Sarah Castor who ran the whole thing so I could bounce around and coach, and to our excellent ref cadre who drove all the way out to LJ to ref for us, we love you guys.

Clint Mayhew from Brazosport won Mixed Div2, earning his C24 rating, in a hard-fought bout over Quentin Villareal from Houston Sword Sports; Eli Vrubel from Brazosport and Thomas Van Vacter from Alamo Fencing in San Antonio shared third.

Sylvia Brandt from Dragon Heart Fencing in Katy won Women's Div2. Jennifer Paul from Brazosport took second, Julie Shaw from East Texas Vikings and Queenie Lacaben from Dragon Heart shared third.

Noah Ayala from Brazosport narrowly edged out Carter Workman, also from Brazosport, for first place in Y14. William Castor and Jayden Berryhill, both from Brazosport, placed third.

And Gabriella Vega-Brandt from Dragon Heart won Y12 in an exciting final, defeating Hazel Kosmicki from East Texas Vikings. Vico Raifarth from Brazosport and Julie Shaw from East Texas Vikings placed third.
