Happy Friday Lake George! Prospect Mt, located right in Lake George Village, holds a lot of history!

There was once a cog railway, a hotel, a fire tower, and a ski slope on our beloved little mountain. And while Prospect may be lower in elevation than other well known Adirondack peaks, don't let that fool you. The approach from the pedestrian bridge in the village is a short but very steep climb up some pretty challenging rock scrambles. For your efforts you'll be rewarded with beautiful 100 mile views of the lake, the Green Mountains, White Mountains, and the Adirondack High Peaks.

We're thinking it might be a really fun event for summer adventure seekers, particularly on Thursdays....🤔

We're super excited for our latest partnership with Lake George 12ster ! Together we're putting together guided 12ster hikes so all you have to do is show up! Registration will be included, and we'll even keep track of the dates for you. It'll be a walk in the park....Maybe more like a walk in the mountains. 🙃
