If you haven’t done one of these rules seminars with one of the Dave’s, this is an excellent opportunity to learn from them both. No one is better at this!

My friend Dave Dellenbaugh and I are doing a Fall rules webinar, called The Daves. We are covering the rules at marks and obstructions (rules 18, 19 and 20), and will be focusing on the new 2021-2024 rules. This is a four-part series, beginning Sunday, September 13 and running four consecutive Sundays from 7pm - 8:30pm eastern time. Hope you can join us and help us spread the word. Wed Night Race 1: Line honors to Wild Thing, and Spirit took the win on corrected time, with Uncle Ludwig second and Wild Thing third.

RC: Stinger. We had 10 boats for our first race. It was blowing out of Boon Bay NW. RC set a great course of I-5. We started at 6;29pm in a 5- to 8-knot breeze. No one was even close to the starting line at the horn. After that, some went west and some went east. Spencer in the J/80 Wild Thing was f...
